As Rhythm and Ramps approaches, we're excited to introduce the talented artists who will be lighting up Kona Skatepark. Today, we're diving into the world of Elan better know as DEEP SEE, a visionary DJ and producer with a passion for creativity and music.
A lifelong musician whose journey into EDM began at his first festival. Inspired by the energy and community. Elan has been dedicated to mastering his sound and contributing to the electronic music scene.

Q: Can you share a bit about your background and how you started DJing/producing?Â
Elan (DEEP SEE):Â "I have been a musician my whole life. I got into producing electronic music after attending my first festival a few years ago. Ever since, I have been in the DAW to improve my sound every day to contribute to this very special scene."
Q: Who are your biggest musical influences, and how have they shaped your sound?Â
Elan:Â "Artists like Seven Lions, Flume, Ganja White Night, Marauda, Yussi, and Imanu have been huge inspirations.."
Q: How do you prepare for a live performance?
Elan:Â "I focus on polishing new tracks for the set."
Q: Besides music, what are you passionate about?Â
Elan:Â "I'm also deeply passionate about filmmaking."
Q: What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in your career?Â
Elan:Â "That breaking the rules is what sparks innovation."
Q: What advice would you give to someone just starting out in making music?Â
Elan:Â "Everyone is on different roads that all vary in distance to success. Surround yourself with like minded artists and most importantly, always enjoy the process. ."
